HELP!!!!!!!!!!! question about mat leave

Hi im self employed and pay class 2 NI so i know i came claim full amount. But i was on maternity leave when i fell pregnant unexpected. So i went back to work beg of oct after 39 weeks off then found out end oct i was pregnant. My question is will i be able to claim again? I have been told my NI will start being paid again now im back at work, but im worried that the 26 weeks test period may not be enough are you classed as working when on maternity leave?? Any help would be great Thanks

Yes you're classed as working, you still pay NI on maternity leave, you can claim again. I know of women who fall pregnant so quickly they dont go back to work between the 2 lots of mat leave.
