Originally posted in the 1st trimester subforum. I'm panicking inside and realized I was asking in the wrong place, I think. Better to ask people who've had their babies.

In the center, right above my pubic bone, and then it feels like it shoots straight back. In the kitchen I was double over, couldn't stand. I don't know if this is normal or not. But if it happens again, I'm going to go to the ER. If it doesn't happen again, I'll still be calling the doctor tomorrow.

I'll feel a lot better if someone can tell me this is normal and that it happened to them and things were okay in the end.

dont think u should be doubled over with pain defo get it checked

i have similar pains where i end up bent over for a few mins then they go, i asked midwife about them and she said their more than likely stretching pains, very quick and sharp and dont last too long, i mainly get them when i get up too fast or even just getting up normally lol depends on where the baby is i think, i had a lot of them in my first trimester and was worried, midwife said they get less in second tri then come back in third.

i cant remember having these with my other 2 but im thinking maybe i blocked them out lol

if you are worried though go and see someone, better to be safe x

I called the on-call physician last night who said to call my regular doctor this morning. I have a call in now and am just waiting back. If I lose another baby, I will die. I'm hoping it's just stretching pains though.
