Help! Taking Clomid & positive OPK today!!

Hello, my husband & I have been TTC for a year with no luck yet. I have not had regular cycles or ovulating due to long term use of birth control. Doctors gave me Provera & 50 mg Clomid to induce a period & ovulation. I am in my 2nd month of taking Clomid. This month I had my own period without Provera, but continue to take Clomid to ensure ovulation. My first month taking Clomid, I used OPKs to help me see if I was ovulating. I did ovulate last month according to positive OPK and cramping. Had sex two days prior to positive OPK, day of positive OPK, and day after. I did not conceive that month. This is my 2nd month on Clomid and I had a positive OPK about an hour ago with cramping & egg white discharge. We had intercourse last night and a negative OPK 12 hrs ago. When should I actually ovulate & when should we have intercourse again? I desperately want to be successful and time it right this month. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

A positive opk tells you that you're about to ovulate.
So when you get a positive you will ovulate within the next 12-48 hours.

When did you finish your last clomid pill? The pill can throw off your OPKS. If you are at least 4-5 days after your last pill then the OPK should be fairly accurate by now. Good Luck!
