I am scheduled to have a septum tissue removed from my uterus on Friday and I am so nervous. Is there anyone out there that has gone through this surgery & can tell me what to expect? Also, were you successful with pregnancy after?

Any support is appreciated.

awww I cannot help you, but I will be having my septum and scarring removed next month. are you having a hysteroscopy? That is what I will be having. It is day surgery and the recovery process isn't bad so I have been told. I am assuming they knock you out completely. :) How big is your septum? mine almost fills the whole uterine cavity. :(

Thanks for the reply!

Yes I am having a hysteroscopy. My doc says its not that big so it shouldn't take that long. There is some sort of a balloon thing they will put up there for a week...sounds interesting. I am just nervous for the pain afterward & the healing process. I've heard some girls have had scar tissue build up and were never able to have children. Obviously this was probably a rare thing, but still makes me nervous!

I am scheduled for Friday so I will let you know how it goes!
