Hi, quick update whilst internet is working!

Hi guys, just managed to get enough signal strength to get online - it's being very tempramental so cannot often get on!

Thanks Alice for updating everyone. As Alice said, I had a sweep today which I was totally NOT expecting! I had been going into hospital for blood pressure checks, and today was seen by the registrar who said that although my BP is a bit more stable, they have diagnosed pregnancy induced hypertension and therefore the longer I am pregnant the more risk of it getting worse. As I am 38+2 they felt it would be fine to try and set things off today, and she said my cervix was soft and had already started to dilate to she managed a "good sweep". There is a 50% chance that this could cause labour in the next 48 hours, and if not then it will be next Wednesday!

Poor hubby was so shocked by it all, he thought they were just going to discharge me back to normal care!

So, I'll text Alice if anything happens.
