I had not felt the baby hiccup at all until about two weeks ago and now I feel like he hiccups all the time. He hiccups at least once every day and some days up to four times a day. I'm 36 weeks so this started about 34 weeks. Do babies normally hiccup more/this much toward the end? I know every baby is different but I'm just curious what all of your experiences are. Of course I did a Google search and found the worst case scenarios. Sigh. He is very active both when he hiccups and when he isn't so I am not really concerned though.

Well I'm afraid to Google... But I'm just 29 weeks and my little girl hiccups all the time. I'd say at least once a day now. I don't remember how often my other two had the hiccups, but often enough, I think?

Babies hiccup all the time, it's totally normal. My little girl hiccups tons, almost every day. Three times yesterday! She probably does it more but I only really notice when I'm sitting and it happens.

And I've noticed it more often as she's gotten bigger. Presumably because she has less room and is closer to the surface, if that makes sense.

Sounds completely fine to me, I feel this baby hiccup loads too. Probably more than I felt my son unless I just forgot over the years how much they actually do it :haha:

Mine all hiccuped 1-4 times per day during third tri.

All of mine have regularly had hiccups especially nearer the end. I get hiccups about 2 or 3 times a day on average at the moment but it has been up to about 5 times a day in the past.

Mine hiccuped pretty much every day until term and she is perfectly fine. In fact, she had hiccups while in labour with her! Stay away from Google (I know, easier said than done!).

Mine hiccups a lot! a few times a day maybe, i just never thought to monitor it really, just think it's kinda cute.
He is a pretty active baby too.

This baby of mine gets the hiccups all the time. Sometimes 4+ times a day. It's actually quite uncomfortable for me because every jolt feels like he's head butting my cervix. My obstetrician said it's perfectly norma nothing to worry about. A good sign his lungs are working.

Thanks for your replies! He is hiccuping away as I type this. I'm glad it is not just me. He is still very high up so its not too uncomfortable yet luckily. The anxiety is just kicking in with three weeks until the due date so I am questioning every single thing. No wonder I am so tired all the time!

At the end my baby hiccuped a lot! -
And she didn't hiccup much earlier on.... now that she's here she hiccups after every meal lol she hiccups all the time now she's out of me! We even asked her pediatrician about it and she just laughed and said it'll regulate at some point lol
