High blood pressure

16 weeek midwife check this morn & I have high bp, got to go back in 2 weeks to check again

I had high bp last pregnancy but later on not as early as this

Mine is high too.. for the first time in my life. I can't help worrying about it as I naturally have low blood pressure, to the point where whoever is taking it often gets concerned until I tell them it's always like that and I won't be passing out on them. The nurse at my obgyn wasn't as concerned as I was about it being high. I know your blood volume increased during pregnancy so maybe that's why.

I've got to go back in two weeks to be checked again!

Do you have to go back?

They take it every time I go in and I don't think they're concerned yet so I don't have an appointment just to check on it. The nurse told me that hopefully it will drop next time, I hope it does! I'm worried about preclampsia and such.

Me too! I'm also getting headaches every day

Mine is a little high, as well. :/ Well it was but they started me on medicine to help lower it. My mom and older sister both had preeclampsia so I definitely don't want to go through that.
