Please excuse me while I freak out here. We've been TTC#1 for 7 months with no luck. I recently had an ultrasound which showed my right ovary enlarged with multiple small cysts and my day 3 bloodwork came back with high estradiol and FSH levels - 88 and 8.4 respectively. Online, I'm reading that an estradiol level of under 50 is ideal and over 75 indicates low ovarian reserve - but I only just turned 30 years old!!
What are the chances of my TTC failure thus far being caused by dwindling egg supply at age 30? Could the cysts be throwing off my estrogen levels? Should I see an RE?
My gynecologist's advice is to just keep trying for now, but I'm worried the cysts and blood tests indicate a problem. FYI, my day 21 progesterone appears to fall within the normal range (19) but FSH is 3x higher than LH, which I've heard is bad also.
I'm so confused! Any opinions? Sorry for the long post.
