Hi there,

My baby is not moving anymore. I have reported this to the MFAU and my consultant and everyone I can get to listen. They just put a trace on me and this stimulates a little movement and so they say all is fine.

All my scans show good growth. However the last scan at 28 weeks showed a Uterine Artery Doppler reading of: 'PI: 1.20, EDF: positive but minimal'. They didn't tell me at the time that this is bad. They just sent me home saying that they would arrange weekly 'reassurance' scans to put my mind at rest about the lack of movement. It is Friday in the morning and I guess I won't be able to get hold of anyone about this until Monday.

My PI of 1.20 at 28 weeks is double what it was (0.6) at 24 weeks. My baby only moves about once a day when he has what I can only describe as a 'seizure' - a shaking violently and rhythmically for about 8 seconds. I have told them this too and they didn't take it seriously.

I don't know what to do.

I'm so scared.

What is happening to my baby?

yikes! Sounds scary...Im sorry I dont have any information for you, but I didn't want to read and run. I hope all turns out well for you. :hugs:

Hmm... trust your mother's instinct and insist that they look into this further. Are you seeing a high-risk specialist? I would do that if at all possible. Your baby is probably perfectly fine, but what if there's a problem they need to help the baby with? Keep at them until they find out what's going on!! So sorry you're going through this!!

No advice hun but hope they take a proper look into things for you. Sending hugs xx

no advice, but wanted to send hugs :hugs: and I hope you get things sorted soon, and everything's okay!

I dont understand any of the readings, but didnt wish to read and run. I would trust your instincts too and perhaps ring the maternity ward or go to A&E to see if you can have any monitoring done if you can. Dont take no for an answer if it doesnt feel right to you. I hope everything turns out okay for you hun. x
