High, soft cervix but AF?

Hi ladies, I am very confused.

AF is due tomorrow for me to have a 28 day cycle. This morning I checked my cervix and found that it's still high and soft but AF has started, rather light and brownish. I'm not holding out hope for a pregnancy anymore, but what's going on with CP? Cervix is always medium and hard for me when AF comes.

I've come to realize that your cervix never does what it's supposed to, or what you expect! If it's any consolation my cervix is usually high and medium for af. My cp only ever goes low after I've ovulated. Having said that a couple of days ago it was really low, but is now crazy high again so I'm just waiting for af to show up.
