High uterus after section. anyone else.

Hi I had an emergency section 21st dec. Im still bleeding quite alot. Midwife today said my uterus is still high and took a swab today and said she wont discharge me coz of it. Does anyone else no what this means or have had the same. This is my first section after a natural birth. Thanks

i think my uterus took about 8 weeks to go down after my cs but the mw didnt seem worried and didnt even check it nor did the doc at my 6 week check they said if the bleeding had settled it was fine,i think its quite normal for it to stay high for longer,x
