I've read that higher temperature in pregnancy is normal and a good sign that extra blood is pumping, but how high have your temps been? I took mine just to see today and it has been 99.5-100.1 F (celsius I think this would be 37.5-37.9). Do you think this is normal? It just seems kind of high to me.

Are you taking your temperature after eating or moving around? That can elevate it. Do you know your normal basal rate? It's also possible you just run hot. I stopped taking mine regularly after my BFP, and did it weekly for a bit after that but the hottest my basal got was 98.8 or so. 98.6 was more average for me.
Otherwise it does sound a bit abnormal.

37.9? That is high but you might just run high. Mine are between 36.64 and 36.95. Just ask doc but I wouldn't worry some people are hotter then others. Are you super hot in the morning when you temp or do you have a lot of blankets on your bed? Have you always been warmer? Like were your pre and post ov temps always on the higher end? If its normal for you I wouldn't worry. Unless you are testing in mid day after being awake for a while. During the day my temps are 37.3 and up.

i was temping while we were trying, & before ovulation, my temperature would be between 36.0-36.4, after ovulation, between 36.5-36.7. i've not taken my temperature consistently since getting pregnant, but the few times i've taken it, it's been between 36.65-36.85 (this is my bbt - temperature first thing in the morning), & i think it's because of the increased progesterone :)

Mine went up to 36.7-37.3 after I ovulated the cycle I got pregnant. It went down a bit after a few days, then shot up the next day which is what led me to POAS...

I did take my temp a few times after getting my BFP - one day it was up to 37.9 which worried me a bit but I think I was a bit ill too. Otherwise it's generally been above 37. I did start to panic at one point when it went down to 36.7 again, since I'd read falling BBT can indicate a miscarriage, but all the evidence I saw said that temperatures fluctuate lots in pregnant women so not to read too much into it - it's not reliable at all.

I wouldn't worry unless you go above 38 (when I think it begins to be classed as a fever) or you start to feel like you're running a fever. Everyone's different.

In my early days, I temped almost daily and it ranged from 99 - 100.3 most days. Now it has stayed pretty normal, but it is really cold here now.

That is high but you really need to temp first thing in the morning before you move, drink or do anything. That way you can get your BBT (Basal Body Temp). I have been doing mine from my last AF to now. My pregnant temps are normally between 36.77 - 36.97 but I haven't been checking at the same time every day so not sure how reliable they are. x

Thanks, that makes me feel better. I'll keep an eye on it and see what it does before my next appointment.
