Hiya Everyone

Well my friend Trixie recommended I join you here so I hope you don't mind me joining!

To tell you about myself:-

I am now on my third month of Clomid and have been TTC for 1 year. I m/c in November at 5+5 weeks (suspected ectopic that resolved itself) and had a chemical (very early) m/c in January.

I have suffered endometriosis since the age of 25, had diathermy treatment under lap twice and had treatment for abnormal and carcinoma insitu of the cervix treated with radiotherapy at it's worse and a loop incision at cin 3.

I am 31 years old and trying for my first baby.

I am just wanting to say hi and if anyone is in the same situation as me it would be great to here from you so I don't feel as alone!

Lol

Hiya Vicky
Thank you for your hello - it's nice to be welcomed!

Hiya Angelkelly

I am visiting my consultant in July and he suggested Metformin alongside Clomid to try if I don't conceive by then. This is due to my bmi and it is supposed to regulate blood sugar to aid oestrogen production at normal levels.

What does are you on if you don't mind me asking?

Lol

Hi Rachelle

I also have endometriosis. I was diagnosed when I was 19 and since then have had 3 laps and various treatments.

Have been ttc since end of October when I had a Mirena Coil removed. My cycles have finally settled down the last two months but have started having tests done anyway to get things moving in case the endo should cause problems.

Anyway, welcome to the forum!

Hiya
I had the mirena coil removed in March last year in order to start TTC in the May. I also had Zoladex injections and I still had periods!!!

Good luck with your tests and baby making - I hope your bfp appears really really soon.

Hiya

That is a fantastic weightloss - you must be so pleased. Not to sound patronising but well done you - it's inspiring.

I had a bmi of 42 at Christmas but have now managed to lose enough to bring me to 37.3. I contacted MFS yesterday to enquire about IVF acceptance bmi ranges. They treat anyone with a bmi of 19 - 30 or help a person with a bmi of 30 - 35 bring their weight down by 5% and then treat.
It gives me something to aim for but I am of courese hoping to not go down that route at all.
