Holy crap - PLEASE READ!

Ok well...I will be on in the afternoon then :dohh: but I am still going to check your posts in the morning !
Try to have a good night tonight!! :hugs: as best you can and please keep us all posted!!!

Crikey!!!!!

Personally I dont like FR or clearblue digital - why dont you try a normal clearblue one - I've not had an incorrect reading from one of those - as someone else said - unusual to get a false positive.

Fingers and toes crossed for you :hugs::hugs:

I've just read a stack of reviews about CB digital on amazon, and lots of women say they get false positves.

So I think its over, and i'll be heading to the FS next month after all

The thing is, i'm not upset, I am so freakin ANGRY that this stupid thing got my hopes up. Will still test tomorrow but I think its a waste of a good test.

Awwwww honey I really hope you get your :bfp: with FMU it must be awfully frustrating having different tests saying different things. I am praying that this is your Christmas miracle and sending you lots of :dust: Will log on again this afternoon when *i think* it will be morning with you?!! Big :hugs: x x

i've heard of people not getting BFPs on first response when they've been pregnant huni

try another brand if u don't get a BFP

Impossible to get a false positive - when you are pregnant, you have hormones in your body that you don't have when you are not.

The hpts state that, the only time you can get a false positive result are:

a) if you leave the test for longer than the 10 minutes stated. This is because you can get an evaporated line (usually silvery in colour rather than the colour of the test ink) when urine dries in.

b) If you have been taking hormones to try and become pregnant - for treatments like IVF.

c) If you have recently been pregnant and your hcg count has not gone down to 0.

Best of luck to you FJL - I am sure it is a BFP!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! You certainly deserve a BFP hun! xxx

Plus - First Response have been slated by so many people in our 'HPTs - which ones do you rate/slate?' thread on the TTC Products sub forum. Possibly they test at a higher MIU concentration than Clearblue Digital (which tests really low at 25 miu).

congratulations thats amazing, my doctor told me its impossible to get a false positive, only false negatives, So that would mean you are pregnant. Time to graduate. xxx

YAY for you!!!!!!! Well pregnancy tests can give you a false negative but not a false positive because your body needs to be producing HCG to make it turn positive. Nothing else can make it do that. Even so I took about 6 tests of different brands when I found out because I loved watching it turn positive. It was like a magic trick I'd just got the hand of! I've also found that those digital ones don't seem as sensitive as the original clear blue tests.

Good luck!

Omigosh, I can't wait to see what happens! The anticipation is awful! I really hope you get your BFP!:happydance:

Aw best of luck when you take the next test :hugs:

When I found out I was pregnant I had only taken one clear blue digi and went to the doctors. He told me he wasnt even gona do a urine or blood test purely because clear blue never give false positives. If it were any other brand he would have tested himself. So heres hoping for you!
