I saw somewhere on another thread that someone said they were making lots of Christmas gifts and I'm intrigued as to what others have made/ plan to make? I love crafty projects and would love to hear your ideas.

So far, I'm making my Christmas cards and tags, and with DD, am making some hanging bird feeders to give to my grandparents. Also might make some jam jar/ baby food jar candle holders, but haven't decided on a design.

Would love to hear what you lovely ladies are making!

It might have been me..I'm making all homemade for extended family.

For ladies (5)-
arm knit infinity scarfs
Heart felt hand warmers
Gu pot candles
homemade lavender and lemongrass soap
Rose bath bombs

For the men (2)
map journal
fabric draughts/checker board
map coasters for one and bbq rubs for the other

and finally truffles and possibly snowman soup for everyone. I've made the scarfs so far and will probably do the hand warmers and soap (needs a month to cure) this weekend. Hope I don't run out of time on everything as I have already purchased all of the supplies.

For my family and close friends I'm making scrabble frames :)

For DS1 I've made him a family photo pairs matching game using pictures of our immediate family, a coloured peg matching game, I've melted and molded some wax crayons to spell his name, I've sewn a felt lower-case alphabet, and I'm sewing an apron, tea towel and oven glove to go with his Ikea kitchen.

For DS2 I've made him a taggie blanket and will be making him some different textured sensory soft blocks :)

Here are a couple of pictures I've taken (stupidly I've wrapped most of them up before taking a photo!)

Wow, you girls are good! I have the fabric to make my son a taggie blanket and dribble bib, but sadly my sewing machine died a while back 😦. Guess what I'm asking for from Santa?!!

I love the arm knit scarf idea- what kind of wool do you use and roughly how much does it cost? Might do that for next year!

Purple specs, I love the idea of sewing accessories for a toy kitchen! Might have to try making wax crayons too...saw it on Pinterest the other day!

Love the matching pegs and the photo games  fab ideas.

I am far from creative. I have done DS2 a crayon box with different compartments that is full of different shaped crayons I have melted and moulded...cars, dinosaurs, stars, numbers etc. I'm super proud of it because that's about as creative as I get.
I also did Christmas crayons for the boys Xmas eve boxes

Love the reindeer crayon...are the nose and hat painted on or are they different coloured crayons? Very clever!

Ive made/making a lot of presents for adults this year. I haven't got pics on my phone but add some later. For my parents and in laws im making a family tree, ive got all tje stuff for this but haven't started yet. For our brothers and sisters who are married its one of the 3d frames from ikea, around the edge its the words of their first dance song, then a wedding photo in the middle, with some little wooden hearts with the dates and co-ordinates of where they got married. For our family with partners who are not married, its A4 size and its literally just a print of things that go together, e.g. fish & chips, antony and cleopatra etc, then in the middle in a different colour, the names of the couple. For DH from the kids, its a wooden letter D. Its going in a frame, with a tag, that will say d is for daddy, then a quote around it, saying, Daddy, a son's first hero, a daughters first love. They are all quite simple but do look effective. Its cost me between £3-£5 to make each item. I am nervous to give them, i do lots of crafty bits but I've never given them as gifts before so hoping everyone likes them.

How do you make soap?

I'm cheating and using a kit because I have never done it before. But next time I think I will just buy all the supplies as it would be cheaper.

I used this yarn https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/sirdar-big-softie-yarn-cherry-pie/572304-1001 but only cast on 8 stitches because it was too short when I did 12. You can use any chunky yarn to get the desired affect, but you do need two skeins. (so mine were about £7 a scarf)

Here is the video I used to learn: https://www.thekurtzcorner.com/2013/09/arm-knitting-diy-30-minute-infinity.html

The first took about an hour and the second two were closer to the half hour to make.

I'm making:

Dip Mix Ornaments: Clear ornaments filled with dip seasoning that they just add to sour cream to make veggie dips, etc

Hot Chocolate mix ornaments: same thing, but hot chocolate ingredients, like cocoa, marshmallows, peppermint pieces in a clear ornament

Mason Jar cookie mixes, mason jar soup mixes

Canvas art: I've made these so far. Ornaments for MIL, and several copies of the penguin canvas art. its 12x12, made with the kids' footprints

Liz, I love the sound of your framed gifts! I'm sure they will be very well received! You'll have to post pics!

I'm making little homemade soap/crocheted wash cloth gift sets. So far I have a few cloths made, they'll be tied with the soap with raffia.

I'm planning to make scented jar candles and fingerless gloves for people too but I haven't got round to even starting yet

For Lucas, OH and myself I'm making matching pyjamas. I finished the pair for Lucas tonight (OH's and mine will obv have our initial on the t-shirt).

They're different coloured crayon, melted in a bowl then painted into the mould with the brown poured on top once they'd dried xx

Love these pjs xx

Your all so talented!

I am making all of my nephews named crayons/Lego men and blocks, then I have a Christmas chocolate mold to do for them.

I am making my mum and dad a scrabble name picture with the grand-children's names on.

Also making each family a selection of Christmas cupcakes.

I am still not sure what I'll make for lo this Christmas. At first I was thinking of making a giant stuffed dragon, but now I am leaning more towards ordering this book and making her a doll set:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1910407062/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Plus maybe a ladybug hat and some slippers.

I also want to make these ornaments:

I had planned to make a crocheted wreath, but when I found out the price of the Styrofoam wreath shape, I decided I'd skip that.
