honeymoon....???

Where should we go...any ideas?


We literally have £1000 for our honeymoon, inc spending money so we can't go anywhere really exotic like Thailand or the Seychelles (unfortunately!!).

I'd love to be able to go for 2 weeks if possible, 10 days I can live with

Any ideas ladies???

We both LOVE the beach, eating out and finding new cuisine, we love culture, art and exploring!

You can if you can go last minute put teletext holidays in on google and if you book a few days before you go you can go to really exotic places that are 4/5 star and all inclusive. That's what we're doing saving up as much as we can and then doing this last minute.

really? we've been thinking of last minute.com or something. We have £500 ourselves for the moneymoon and our guests are giving us money as presents. i think we'd be lucky to get more than £500 (we only have 80 guests!!!) but I cant wait!!!

I just did a quick search for leaving on tuesday and it came up with £425 per person holiday in morroco 4 stars all inclusive so wouldn't need to spend anything else. There are cheaper ones to less exotic places that are around £300 pp all inclusive. x

We did 4 days at Disneyland Paris as an 'interim' honeymoon due to work commitments, was awesome!

I would second the 'teletext' website for last minute offers. Although, if you see an offer you cant umm and aahhh about it coz by the time you ring chances are it will be gone (or at least thats what the people on the other end of the phones say )

i can go to the south of france really cheap if i wanted too because my step grandfather owns a few static caravans in the hills (its beautiful!). XX

we went to agadir (morocco) for ours, beautiful hotel, all inclusive, right on the beach, booked it 3 weeks before we went and cost us about £800 (that included transfers & airport lounge, plus we told them it was a honeymoon and got upgraded from a regular room to a massive 6 roomed, 2 balcony suite for nothing!, we spent maybe £250 - £300 max spending money while there but that was because we went out to a show one night and ate out at a top food place another night (but saying that it was one of the best places to eat in agadir and the bill was still only £33 for the 2 of us for 2 courses (hubby had steak) my soft drinks and hubby's half bottle of wine, and they picked us up and dropped us off!)

Me and my husband went to Kenya for 2 weeks for ours though that was the most expensive part of our wedding!

What about maybe Portugal or something like that?

hummm maybe. Ive only ever been to france, germany and amsterdam. i want to go somewhere with crisp white beaches and a palm tree with history and good food!!!!!

My friend just went to Egypt for her honeymoon...I was looking at deals, and you can get all inclusive late deals for about £500pp That definately had beautiful beaches and palm trees...
