Hoping this isn't a chemical....advice?

My husband and I are trying for baby number 1 this is our first try as well. The last couple of weeks have been an emotional roller coaster. test after test after test. I think I O'd on 7/5..but, at the time I wasn't tracking religiously.. or anything. I had cramps and backache.. not bleeding.. but, possible implantation.. the 13th..possibly. I have taken tests.. since then and they have all been super faint.. like barely there. today I took one that seemed a bit darker.. but, very, very faint. I am having almost every symptom.. and today I am 4 days late im not sure how many dpo I am.. maybe 17 or 18. I am wondering if I could possibly be having a chemical pregnancy because my lines just are not getting much darker... anyone had this happen before?

I believe I had a cp last month. I had faint positives for 3 days that seemed to be getting lighter then AF showed and tests went negative. I'd say test again in 2 days if AF doesn't show as hcg should be doubling every 48 hours. FX for you!

It's a good sign you are pregnant if the line is getting darker and no sign of AF!

I had a BFN at 13 dpo and thought I was out, a faint second line at 17 dpo and then got Pregnant 1-2 on a digital at 18 dpo! I'm now 20 dpo and the line it looks a tiny bit darker each day.

Maybe try a digital? Seeing the word "Pregnant" is the only thing that convinced my DH it was for real. He was doubting the faint lines too. I would say, as long as you are getting some kind of line and AF is late, you're pregnant! Congrats!
