Hey, everyone.

I'm knew to this site and not sure how it works so please bare with me.

My husband and I have been trying to conceive since July 2008. I have recently been in for a scan and for blood tests. The blodd tests revealed that I have high male hormones but the scan showed no cysts. My doctor has ruled out PCOS as I have had regular scans since having a cyst rupture last year but it turned out that the cyst I had was a one off. My husband has had to hand a sperm sample into the fertility clinic and has to do one also two weeks before out fertility appointment in November. I also have to go for a full sexual health check (my husband does not, I think that is unfair, lol).

I was just wondering if any women on here have been through this and can advise me of what to expect and what it means. Although my doctor is very efficient by having things moving on quickly and having tests done etc, he doesn't actually tell me why or what they are for or what they mean.

Also, I was put on the pill form April through to June but I am still not having periods. I had one the week between Christmas and New Year but that wasn't a menstrul bleed, that was all the gunk from the birst cyst coming out. I had one with each pack of pills but that was it. So four in nearly 14 months and three were 'fake' if you get what I mean.

I am very worried about what to expect and what the outcome will be but if I know what is coming then I can deal with it and not worry.

If anyone can give some advice or share some experiences then that wold be great.

Good luck to everyone and lots of baby dust.

I am not sure what tests they will give you. I have something completely different, but I was given blood work, HSG, pap, ultrasound etc initially. THen I was prescribed Clomid. After that, I had laproscopy, hysterscopy, hydrotubation, and a D&C. I would think that yours would be at least similar. Good luck to you!
