Hi all,

I had a blood test and got called in for my results last week. I was having the test for something completly unrelated to TTC but was interested by the results.

I got called in to the Drs to talk about my results which show that I am vitamin B deficient and have low hormone levels.

I have another appointment in a few weeks to discuss so was wondering if any of you have had this before, did it take you longer to concieve and are there any questions you would ask the Dr?

I have typically been sat here panicking that I can't concieve and working myself up over it!!! I am on my 6th cycle of TTC now.

Any advise or info would be great thanks xx

I have no experience in this area:nope:

But I would think they haven't tested your CD3 hormones if you're not getting your fertility checked so I don't know how much they can tell you about your fertility. I think that certain thyroid hormones can effect your chances though but am not entirely sure. But you could ask the Dr if any of those hormones tested could be affecting your chances to conceive.

Depending on your age, you could get your fertility checked out. I think it's if your under 35 than they'll check you after 1 year of unsuccessful TTC and if your 35 or over after 6 months. But remember that it can take a perfectly healthy fertile couple up to 1 year to conceive with the average being 6-8 months.

Good luck, hope this helps some:haha: :dust:

Thanks for replying.. I think I was just wittling a bit as I am pretty sure we have timed things right each month and it hasn't happened.

I can't wait for my next appointment now so that I can ask more questions.. I feel that I am just in the dark at the moment.

Thanks again :)
