i'm having a truely terrible day. i've snapped at people at work, I feel they're taking advantage of me and I'm ready to cry. I'm here at my desk (ssshhh dont tell my boss) frowing with my bottom lip stuck right out... I'm fed up. And I'm tired, and feel so sick, and I'm not even happy it's friday because although that does finally mean I dont have to wake up to the alarm tomorrow morning, I'm not exited about friday night as lets face it I'll prob just go to bed or feel sick.
while i'm deighted to be pregnant i'm not much njoying it right now. it's so draining to be continuously tired and feeling sick.
I'd just like to sleep and feel refreshed for once.

I'm still waiting for sleeping and feeling refreshed :hissy:
Hope you feel better soon x

Aww Tinytoes I hope you feel better soon! I had terrible sickness in the first tri right through my second pretty much. It has calmed down a bit now but still comes and goes so I know exactly how you feel. There were days when getting out of bed was the biggest challenge ever so you definitely have my sympathy.

Have you been able to find anything/ lil remedies to help you out? Maybe we could suggest some for you.

I feel exactly the way you do, sitting in front if my pc and fighting to keep my sore eyes open....i'm really looking forward to the so called holiday period.

Feel really sorry for you guys and, if I'm honest sorry for me too cos I've got it all to come!! Guess it will all be worth it in the end.
:hugs:

Hugs for everyone!!

no i havt tried any remedies. i've not actually been phsyically sick so should be grateful myabe. I did try ginger biscuits but i didnt like them.

It's more the tiredness that gets me down. and the inablity to sleep properly.
it makes me grumpy (you might have noticed!!...)

gosh...maybe it's just today...maybe I'll be better tomorrow when I dont have to be at work.....maybe....

ahh yes roll on Christmas..I can be as bah humbug as I like, spend verey day in bed, and eat disgusting amounts of nice things.

good luck fellow grumpers!

i'm only 7 weeks in..cripes....so grumpy in sucha short time...gosh....I must have it easy compared to some of you 12 weeks +

I feel sick all day although am not actually sick, the only thing to stop me feeling sick is to eat all the time in between my actual meals!! I'm going to be the size of a house!!

Have been looking for low fat things to eat and found some ginger snaps at Sainsburys which had 70% less fat and just tried Walkers Ready Salted Baked Crisps which are very low in fat.

Oh and i know what you mean with the sleeping thing! I can not get comfy whatsoever! wake up frequently throughout the night, and then once i am awake takes ages to get back to sleep. Sooooo Tired!

oh Jules we're in the same boat! Eating helps me too....I'm going to be enormous!! I tell you what - we'll make it a competition?!

Jules and tinytoes, we're all in the same boat...i havent actually thrown up but i keep on having to eat just to stop me feeling sick and last weekend i felt so sorry for myself because i actually got up in the middle of the night when i couldnt sleep to eat!!!!
the good thing is with the rate at which i've been eating i havent put on as much weight as i would have thought.

Jules and tinytoes, we're all in the same boat...QUOTE]

I know this, which is why i feel it's a good palce to have a moan about it!!

I love teh getting up in the night to eat! Great stuff! At what other stage in our lives would this be acceptable? we should enjoy it I guess!...

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm happy that I'm pregnant, but don't like feeling queasy and tired all day long. If you feel sick to your stomach, try drinking ginger ale, 7UP or Sprite (it works for me). I get grumpy too, I have days where I just want to disappear, close all the blinds in the house and sleep all day long, lol!!! I haven't even felt like being around family or friends lately, I just sit in front of the tv and fall asleep within an hour. I just feel lazy and sick. I hope you get to feeling better soon and just remember, you're not alone when it comes to raging hormones, my husband said mine have been all over the place, lol!!

I feel exactly the same! I'm 6 weeks, 3 days pregnant and each day I feel more tired, more sick and quite awful. Although I longed to be pregnant long before we even started trying to conceive and for us we were lucky, it happened very quickly, I still find myself sometimes thinking back to the days before I was pregnant when I could spring out of bed without feeling sick.

I think we think of being pregnant as the pictures of visibly pregnant women from the second trimester onwards, who look fab, have a bump so a reason to feel tired or to want to take it easy. When you're stomach's still flat and nobody knows you're pregnant except those closest to you, it's difficult to believe there's really a baby inside making you feel so awful, isn't there?

Hang in there everyone! This can't go on forever!

Since last Saturday the morning has set in on me, big time. I have to eat saltine crackers on and off throughout the day so that I don't get to hungry (otherwise it gets much worse!). Plus 7 up and sprite have become my best friend. I can't wait for this stage of pregnancy to be over.

I had a bad day yesterday too. I was in a bad mood all day long, for no real reason..then DH came home from work, and I'm not sure WHY, but I wouldn't speak to him cause I was mad at him, then I went to bed crying cause I didn't know WHY I was mad. It sucks, but it's gotta get better...right?
