when did you pack or are planning to pack your hospital bag?

I'm 27 weeks on Tuesday so will be entering 3rd tri then, and I was thinking around week 30. Is that too early?

You can't really be too prepared, pregnancy is all about the unknown and if you're more comfortable having it ready (or like me just plain excited) then do it whenever you like I'd say, it'll take you a while to collect and buy everything probably anyway x

I didn't pack mine till 37 weeks, but I did make a list of everything at about 30 weeks. I ended up packing way to much. I was in the hospital for almost a week, but the hospital supplied most of what I needed.

I just started packing today! I still need to wash some of bean's clothes to put in and get a few bits. Also a lot of of the stuff on my list I use every day so I guess that will have to be thrown in last minute!

When I packed mine, I attached a list of all the last min things to the top of the bag. So glad I did. My labour came on fast (within 2 hrs I was 6cm), so OH was able to pack all the last min things for me.

My section is scheduled for Tuesday, so I planned to pack on Monday evening but a false labour scare overnight now has me all packed and ready to go! Luckily I had everything in the house and all ready to be packed just not actually in the bag. I did this with my first dd as well. I hate being too organised as I just freak out and unpack then pack again over and over!

I found I added to it quite a lot over the weeks so whilst you might think you are starting early it does take a while and plus it gives you something to focus on! I packed the kitchen sink but frankly you won't use half the stuff!

I am planning on packing at around 25 weeks, only because i was addmitted to hospital around 14 weeks and it made me realise that i shoudl always be prepared! (i am also just really excited!!!) x

If I remember correctly, I had mine packed around the 30 week mark last time, which is what I'll aim for this time :) I too had a list of last minute bits to remember to add as well :)

I voted 36+. Having a HB but will prob have a bag packed just incase. With my daughter I went into labour at 39 weeks with no bag packed. My mum did a mad dash to tesco on the way to the hosp whilst I was on g&a LOL

i packed mine around the 30-35 week mark - i packed WAY too much, didn't need hardly any of it as i was in and out the same day!!!

I packed mine around 35-36 weeks. I packed wayyy too much too :haha:

Aiming for 31-15 weeks here too :)

same here. I also went into labor at 38 weeks, so i would say pack yours about 36 weeks just in case.

I put a few things in when i was about 34 weeks. Nothing i actually needed! So i unpacked it again. Then i finally did it about 40+3. I had her at 41 weeks. Labour started the evening of 40+6. I didnt do it until i felt she was going to arrive.

I think I started packing it around 32/33/34 weeks :) x

i packed mine about 34 weeks but me packign was pointless and i had to get my dad to bring a whole new hospital bag as my LO was 10pounds 9oz and i didnt have any clothes to fit so i would put a big range off clothes sizes in

my twin magazine said somewhere between 27 - 30 weeks. I may well pack later than that though.
