Oooops I think I need to pack mine, I am hoping for a home birth but need to sort out everything so it's in one place and just in case I get transferred.

x

I packed my bag when I suspected I might be in labor at 38+3, then I went to work in case it was just BH. (It was labor)
If I had to do it again, I'd wait until I was in labor to pack same as before.

Haha I packed my bag the night I went into labor! We'd just gotten home from the mall and I was feeling some contractions but I figured it was just BH, so my OH went to bed...few hours later I tried going to bed too and they kept getting worse...so we packed a bag and went in. XD

I packed my bag around 33 weeks as I kept being told i had a big baby and to expect an early delivery, She didnt turn up til 39 weeks but it is good to be organised just incase :)

My first came at 40+14 and i was packed for weeks....drove me crazy!!! I unpacked and repacked.....then when she was born.....realised i didn't have nearly enough stuff as i was kept in for 2 weeks (thats another story). So when my second came i packed at 36 weeks and packed LOADS, as luck would have it he was born a week later and i was out the same afternoon!!

So this time i think i will pack around 30 weeks and leave it well alone. I will then also write a list and give a copy to my OH and my sister, so that should i need any extras, they will know what to get!

I packed mine on Saturday (13th August) my due date - on the insistence of a friend, I thought leaving it until the last minute would give me something to do when it all started.

I am starting to make lists of things I think im going to need now and im only in my first tri. the idea of being unprepared when it happens frightens me!
