Are the online calculators correct? We have a local one on my councils website which says we aren't entitled to nothing but on the entitled to website it says we're entitled to £60 a week which would be a great help .

We're currently on the council waiting list and have been bidding this week were in the top 20 on once of the property's, its a housing association property but the rent is £150 a week so £600 a month which is cheaper than private renting in our area... It's a 2 bed new build in our area it would most probably be near enough double private rent.

I looked online to see about housing benefit before I bidded and it said were entitiled to £60 a week is this very accurate

Thankyou :)

I just gave that one a go it says we should be entitle to
Child tax credit £62.09 a week
Working tax credit £89.53 a week
Housing benefit £21 a week

But I get 29 wtc and 60 ctc.... A big difference to what it says there

Xx

My local benefit calculator is saying we're entitled to nothing :(

They were always pretty accurate for me

But YAY for being in the top 20! Not long now :happydance:
