Housing /council benefits on low income

Can anyone explain this to me?

Mainly wanting to know whats the thresholds of income & how much they help?

My partner is looking for full time work but I want to know that if he takes on part time we wouldn't be worse off!

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

It depends totally on your household size, your rent, and income.

Have a look on www.turn2us.co.uk and use the benefit calculator on there

There is no threshold or limit of income, well to a point, with housing and council tax benefit as there are so many different premiums etc which effect your applicable amount. The only certain thing is if you have over £16k in the bank you won't qualify

Check out the link above and it will give you an estimate

My experience I am a housing/council tax benefit assessor with 13 yrs experience
