How are things since your mc?

I curious to hear how you're doing since mc. Temping, ov signs, pms, etc?
I had my mc in mid June, had my first AF on the 19th of July and here I sit waiting for signs of Ov. My temps are not at all the same, and niether are my body signs. Making it hard to pin it down at all. I think I'm depending on FF totally this cycle. I've been uncomfortably bloated, constipated and gassy for the past 3-4days, something that never really got me.. at least not like this. I'm irritable (already/still) and have been since the came. Just what the flippity flap is going on here?? My first cycle back to TTC and I feel like I'm going to just be getting used to myself again. Hello me... nice to meet you again. LOL Anyone else frustrated, and impatient?

I had a missed MC in April then a D&C after. I soon got my 28 day cycle back but still waiting for . I got caught the first month of trying the last time so waiting nearly 5 months is killing me.

Its so emotional and i know everybody who has been through this will understand.

i had my m/c on 27/05 I had a 34 day cycle then appeared on 01/07 I am currently on CD38 and no and everytime I test!!! I swear I OV on cd15 so, I think I am nearly 2wks late but, as keep getting and no showing up I don't know what to think!!!! I will go to GP on tuesday 12/08 as that will be day43 and longest cycle yet as long as doesn't show up. It is well and truly doing my head in

Hi there I had a m/c in April this year and have been TTC since first AF but my body is still not doing what it is supposed to!! my first AF was 2 weeks long and this one is the same, I am seeing my doc this lunchtime to see if they can shed any light on it, I am SOOOOO sick of not being right, I feel like you - irritable, annoyed, upset - you name it I just want to get my and it is just so unfair

I had my last m/c in May had an ERPC on 16th May and the had my first af on 20th June. I am now 7 weeks pregnant so I must have ov'd the next cycle and caught then. Good luck hun xxx

Oh, so glad it's not just me. Annoyed and impatient. Still waiting for my crosshairs on FF and waiting.... so we shall see I suppose. Still not getting the signs of anything going on, I wonder if I've even Ov'ed? I've just decided to write this cycle off. Seems easier to just let it go than to go on pissing about it. Ya know?

Had my MC in Feb and still waiting but i seem to be getting less symptoms in the 2ww each month? I get really fed up sometimes but people on here are so nice that it helps. Good luck all! xx

i have to second what you're saying. Just after my mc/d&c in feb i had weird things going on. My first cycle was quite bad and i dont have them bad-- yes, i know very lucky but as Tans said, as far as symptoms..good grief, where do i start?

First af had none, no usual symptoms before af..although i think i had a little bit of ewcm telling me i ov'd but after that flipping nothing. (first af was 4 days late). Since then my cycles have shortened from a 31/30 day cycle to 28/29 days cycle- which i think is great. (one good thing to come out of the mc, i guess)

However, ive also developed entirely new symptoms before af..usually starting as early as 2 dpo...wtf?? Cramping everyday, feeling nauseaus sometimes, metal mouth, painful teeth etc etc...

The verdict being i dont believe in symptoms anymore as i dont think there really are any specific ones. I think you'll only know once you're af is late and you have a bfp. Its very annoying though..and if im honest, after all this time ttc (a year) its so ingrained that in my 2ww i have to fight the urge to get optimistic about these 'symptoms' as ive been so wrong in the past..

Having said that, im still very optimistic it WILL happen..but the wait can be hard. One just has to keep the faith!!

I can definately relate to your posting...my body hasn't been the same since my 2 mc's.

My cycles are, fortunately, not that long..(I have only once gone over 28 days) but now they are getting shorter which is a concern. I have had spotting and lots of symptoms in the 2WW that I never really had before. I get bloating, mild nausea, throbbing breasts (only left side though!) and regular left sided cramps. I do think that since having the mc's, I am more 'in tune' with my body and picking up any slight symptom that may be OV or PG (the nurse at the EPAS unit said this would happen!)

It is frustrating not being able to fully understand what is going on.

I suppose it takes some of us longer than others for our hormones to settle down and start doing their job again properly. A gynaeacologist has recently told me that, despite all those who fall PG very soon after a mc...for the most of us it takes at least 3 cycles to get back to some kind of normality and it is harder to fall PG again after a mc...but he was optomistic and added that despite statistics, we are all unique, so basically anything goes!


I've given up trying to interpret symptoms but cannot help but jot them down in my diary and, being really honest,still hope each month that this time, they might indicate something!

It took me five weeks from miscarrying to get my first AF on 20 July. I wanted to take this first cycle to figure out what my body was doing. I usually O on CD12-14 but this time round it was either 16 or 17, so that's moved out. I'm only 7dpo at the moment so waiting to find out if my LP is going to remain at 14 or not. My coverline seems a little higher than previous cycles but that could be the change in weather here.

I am so glad I found this post.

I am completely in limbo at the moment. I mc on 25th July and whereas my cycle used to be 28 days (could set my watch by it), I honestly don't know what to expect of it now. I have been temping since CD7 and would normally ovulate CD16 and am now on CD18 and no sign of O! I'm using OPK's and getting a very faint line and lots of cramping but who knows what is going on. My temps also seem to be fluctuating.

So I am trying to be patient and letting nature run its course.

Well I'm still in the aftermath. I bled like "normal" when I m/c so I counted it as a period. So it will be interesting to see if my AF shows up in a couple of days when she's due.

It's been an emotional roller coaster. One minute I'm fine, next I'm in tears. But each day seems to get a little easier. Even managed to flick through a baby sale catalogue yesterday without wincing!

Some days I feel really motivated to keep trying, and some days I feel like it's never going to happen.
