How are you passing the time? So impatient!!

Crafting! DH and I painted roses on the crib and just last night painted wooden letters that spelled out DD name.

Work takes up most of my day and exhausts me, so luckily evenings go by pretty quickly and I usually fall asleep early. Not many hours to worry about passing lol. But I do find that I have to do a load of laundry almost every night, so that takes up time as well.

DH and I started watching Orange is the New Black (no spoilers please!) and when he and I pick up a show, we watch a couple episodes a night, which also makes the time pass much more quickly.

I've been making crafts for the nursery as well. I've also been scouring secondhand baby stores for clothes and then I spend a lot of time washing them all and sorting them out, folding them nicely, and organizing them in the nursery dresser or closet. I even made little hangtags that divide up the closet by months. Just little things to do, but it does take up an evening, and I feel like I'm getting something done for the baby as well.

when I'm not chasing after my crazy 3.5 year old I'm usually on Pinterest pinning a million baby girl things & trying to figure out how I'm going to fit two little ones woredrobes into one tiny closet.

Ever_After, those letter cut-outs are really cute!

This is my fourth, aged 3,2,1, and I live in a very, very large house, so between housekeeping, child raising and cooking, I don't have too much time to just sit around and think about how much this is dragging on. Haha. However, I do have my moments. I also remember very clearly what my life was like when I was expecting my first, especially since he was due just a month before this baby is due, and I'm really reminiscing about that pregnancy.

I spent a lot of time on Pinterest, finding ideas for decorating baby's room and crafts I could make for my baby. This is something I do for each one of them, too. I made blankets for each of my babies, which gave me something to do when I was pretty far along and uncomfortable and just wanted an excuse to sit on my butt. I paint letters to create their names, as someone showed above (and beautiful! Mine didn't look that nice. Lol).

I also picked up a show to watch, just to fill in whatever spare time I had. I chose new recipes to try out and pinned tons of freezer recipes so I could put them together about a month before baby was due, so my family could eat while I was in the hospital, and I could have a quick meal to just throw in the oven or slow cooker when I wasn't feeling so great in my 9th month.

I reconnected with old friends and kept up on all the updates on these message boards. It was also fun for me to create name lists so I'd be ready when it was time for me to choose a name for my baby. I deleted them after each baby and started all over, probably using a lot of the same names. Haha

I did some deep cleaning and listened to a LOT of music. I practiced playing the piano and sang a lot. I took up reading. I started making my own cleaners and laundry detergents and the like and figured out a ton of ways to save lots of money. I reconnected with old friends and caught up, which also made me feel a lot less lonely.

Lots of shopping. Oops! I daydreamed a lot and imagined what life would be like. I meditated on what I thought baby would be like (another thing I've done with each baby, and I had their personalities pinned down before they were even born. I was 100% correct with all of them so far!)

I watched movies... I went in walks through the neighborhood or the parks. I spent a lot of time focusing on my health, what I could do to avoid gaining too much weight and how I could get even healthier throughout pregnancy.

I also made a lot of Christmas gifts and birthday gifts for my family members, and I made lots of crafts for the holiday season to use to decorate my home. Even some beautiful wreaths!

I went out and did all the things I could do while pregnant but probably wouldn't enjoy as much once I had kids to take with me. Zoos, the beach, museums, tourist attractions, little day trips, out to the 24 stores in the middle of the night and then slept in, in the morning... There was nothing better than that, at the time. Haha

Good luck! Pregnancy is just Loooooooong, but a little creativity can go a long way!

This is my first and I'm trying to divide my time between keeping busy, getting everything ready and getting some alone time and relaxing watching crappy tv!! Also, trying to go out for dinner at least once a week whilst we still can 😂
