I can't keep anything down today it's 31 degrees and I'm so thirsty. I really don't want to go on IV as I might get better later. Is it really bad for baby to be dehydrated I'm 15 weeks.

not sure if it is for baby, guessing it will be, but its important you stay hydrated as well other wise you risk passing out.
one tip I was given when I couldn't keep anything down was to sip on a drink every 10 to 15 minutes and it had to be sips. its easier for you body to keep that down. keep doing that and it should help you stay hydrated.

Being dehydrated in general isn't good, I'd do the pp suggestion and if that doesn't work definitely go in for some fluids.

Good luck!

If you really can't keep anything down, even sipping something, you really should call your provider and get iv fluids.

I dint know how it can affect baby just from dehydration alone at 15 weeks, but you're also looking at increased risk of uti which can be harmful if you dint get it taken care of.

I was in l&d Friday night from Braxton hicks every 5-10 minutes. I thought I was drinking plenty, but it turns out I was very dehydrated (which was diagnosed after a full 1,000 ml iv bag, so was likely wise off before - and this www with me thinking I was drinking enough). I passed out shortly after arriving. I'm not sure how much of that had to do with dehydration, but I do know that I had almost passed out before when I was very likely dehydrated.

I would call if you can't keep anything down.

Thanks everyone. Luckily I've started keeping down water and ginger ale. Going to doctor tomorrow
