How can I make my hair stay straight all day?

I straighten my hair if I'm going out (night or day) I dry my hair straight with the hair dryer then use ghd's. I put straightening serum on my hair. After about an hour my hair look awful. It curls in and looks messy. I hate this when I'm out.Does anyone have any tips to keep it straight? I use hair spay too.

do you use serum before you dry it AND after?? also only use a little hairspray as it goes on wet and tends to mae it lose the straightness iygwim?

my hair is curly and if i want it straight i have to use serum - both before and after xx

mine always flicks out during the day, ive straighten mine like with a tiny flick under.. the flick falls out quickly and hair stays straight

Ooooh i like this idea! I can ghd straighten my hair 2-3 times a day. As soon as i go outside my hair frizzes up and goes massive! I must start using serum or something like that!

I wish i knew my use serum and a heat defense spray and my hair looks lovely for 20 mins then it goes all fuzzy. I've even invested in some GHD's and, imo think they're absolute shite

I bought a professional straightener. It gets really hot, so it does a better job and my hair stays straighter longer. The ones you can get at like regular retail stores don't get hot enough. It was pretty pricey, but sooooo worth it!

There's also a spray my stylist recommended, but I can't remember the name of it. It protects the hair so it kind of burns the spray off instead of burning the hair itself.

I think they also make a high humidity finishing spray, but I don't have that, so I can't comment on it. Good luck!

I use gdh styling spray, I straighten my hair spray it on and straighten it again xx

I had this problem and then I invested in a GHD hairdryer. Makes my hair a lot less frizzy which helps in keeping it straight.

I love my ghds.
My hair flicks because my layers are cut in the way they are. It annoys me but this normally does the trick xx
