How can people do this to sick children.....

I found out some awful news today... I work at our local hospital on one of the childrens wards......

Well I found out today that the playroom that the children use has been trashed by people and toys stolen..... Last week the football players from our local football team came to see the children and donate toys to the ward and give out presents to the sick children... All of those toys have been taken.... Pictures that children have done have all been trashed and ruined....

How could people be so cruel as to do that to poorly sick children..... And at christmas of all of the times of the year... There are some low life people out there... I am in so much shock...

I'm gonna guess drugs related. Only reason I can think of for someone to be so selfish as to steal off of sick children is the selfishness of addiction.

Aw how awful. Is there an appeal to replenish toys? Are you allowed to do that? I didn't think hospitals were allowed to accept donated toys now due to infection risk but if they are I have a few toys that were going to that Argos appeal that I'd hapily post on - you're not far
