(Ok, I started this over on the TTC side and it was hilarious so I had a pregnancy one to share and thought I'd bring it over here).

DH has been a little clueless about some things ... but the other night we were talking about my scan thats scheduled for 6w0d. He asked if they're going to put that stuff on my belly and I told him, no, that they do an internal scan when its this early. Long pause... and he asks... so do they like put a camera up there and take a picture?


Anyone else have one to share?

Well my sister (she's 14) came to the scan with me and OH today. We were sent out for half an hour to drink some more (my bladder wasn't full enough ) while waiting my sister said "Wow.. how does that round thing see in your belly? AND innit weird how that gel stuff puts a light on" Made my day that did ! OH then went on to explain the waves.. lol

haha, i had a few glasses before I went, because last time i needed to go so bad it hurt! and when i was sent out i drank 3 more cups of water and that was more than enough!

I think it's most men in geleral that are clueless! LOL My DH and I were watching the movie "the backup plan" with J Lo on the weekend and she had an internal ultrasound in the show. My Dh was like "what are they doing?" LOL I guess in all fairness though I wouldn't have had a clue if i hadn't had one before and at that time I had no idea that they did that! My friend had a baby who's almost 2 now and she ended up getting an internal and had no idea either. I guess it's one of those not talked about subjects!

I'm not in 1st tri but I hope you girls don't mind my post, couldn't resist adding this story!

Me and DH were talking about what he would do when (PMA!) I go into labor... I brought up the fact that we would have to make sure to get someone to watch our dog. He said "Why? I'll be home to let him outside..." He honestly thought that we would just swing by the hospital for a few hours or so, and that he would be free in plenty of time to let the dog out.

Ok mine isn't pregnancy related but I wanted to add it all the same...

Bout an hour ago I was in the kitchen putting a new bag of milk into the jug and hubby came up to me and said "Don't make the hole in the bag too big" and I said "why?" and he said "cause if it has a big hole it will finish sooner and we already go through too much milk"

Having a bigger hole in the bag isn't gonna make us consume more milk.... It's just gonna make us spend less time standing there while we wait for the milk to empty into our cups!

i really cant stop giggling away at these stories...and i thought my OH was bad pmsl (not pregnancy related but i had to throw this one in....we have a 11 month old bitch and she's come into heat, my OH only turned around and asked why do she have a sugarpuff fanny lmao) soz if tmi but i thought it was hillarious at the time

mine isn't funny but my hubby wasn't impressed with the idea of being there next week when our first ultrasound is internal, he has seen the big ultrasound stick when we had some insemination's (that didn't work) & he asked me then what it was & i told him.

I told him he will be at my head end like with the IUI treatment- he'll want to be looking at the screen not under the sheet. hehehehe

Lol, well one of my friends just gave birth after only 2 hours at the hospital, so I guess its possible
