How did you handle your expected due date?

I miscarried back in October and was supposed to have my little angel April 13th. Was it easier for you to make it through your expected due date than you thought or did you have trouble holding back the tears? I'm a teacher and am afraid to go to work that day b/c I'm afraid I'll lose it throughout the day. How did you survive what was supposed to be such a special day?

I handled it a lot better than I had expected. I knew it was coming and kept wondering how I would feel then when the day came I actually forgot that was "the day" until the afternoon. A couple days later when my cousin had his baby and posted a bunch of pics and video on FB that's when I lost it. Seeing a baby that was supposed to be born AFTER my baby is what got me the most.
