I quit a few years ago and started again months after I had quit (stupid me) but then I found out I was pregnant (I believe due to quitting smoking) so I quit cold turkey (again). It was the best decision I've ever made!
Try and keep yourself busy at the usual times you smoke, even if it's just playing a silly game, reading a book, baking, whatever will keep you occupied. Chewing gum is great too!
One thing that really helped me was figuring out how much I was spending and then writing on a calendar how much I was saving by not buying cigarettes. Every 3 days (when I use to buy cigarettes) I would write down the increasing amount of how much I had saved by not smoking.
You can also write down on the calendar how quitting is affecting your body and how it's getting healthier.
Good luck hon, you can do it!
