How do I make little lines or shapes in my signature?

I see it a lot in other signatures, they have straight vertical lines usually when listing stuff I.e. : co-sleeping (vertical line) breastfeeding (vertical line)

How do you do that? Lol. And can you make shapes like hearts and stars too?

To make a vertical line there should be a backslash key next to the shift on the left of your keyboard (\), press shift and the backslash (|).
The little symbols are known as ASCII code, to make them press ALT on your keyboard and the number on the number pad to the right of your keyboard. There's a list here of the symbols and corresponding numbers - for example heart is ALT + 3 -

Thanks! I'm usually on my iPad when on BnB so that's probably why I didn't know any of that. Lol.
