really ?

i mean i thought with the polyps remove my Af will be a little bit less painfull...

wrong i was !!!
i am here working and in PAIN!!! i just want to take a hot bath :hissy::hissy:

anyway beside the hot bath that relieve the cramps for a little while i tried every pain killers possible and AF is still so awful !!!

how do you do it ?

it's suck that we endure so much mentally and physically !!! once a month i wish i could be a man !!!!:muaha:

Sorry to hear the :witch: is being so evil this month Miel :x

I find a heated up wheat bag or hot water bottle does more than any pain killer.

Pain killers don't do a lot for me either, unless they're REALLY strong!

It sucks doesn't it? The only way I can head the pain off is if I take painkillers BEFORE AF gets here. So, I chart, and when my temperature starts to fall, and I'm sure AF is on her way, I take something. If I'm not ttc I will take ibuprophen - works best for me, and if I am - tylenol (just in case).

If I don't catch it before hand, I'm in for a rough couple of days - nothing touches those cramps.

Im sorry she is being a BITCH to you this cycle hun....
I use very strong pain killers Mypaid they are super strong and work within 20minutes..... What i also do when it gets very bad is get a muscle relaxent it works like a bomb.....

Ibuprofen is fine during AF and is anti inflammatory so usually takes down some of the congestion. It's only bad whilst TTC if you think you could be pregnant as it can cause uterine contractions. If on AF though you're not pregnant so therefore ibuprofen is safe. Having said that, it does bugger all for me unless I take three instead of two and even then it only dulls it. What I always find works, somehow, is catching the pain before it actually develops. I will take painkillers the second I feel a twinge and most of the time it doesn't develop because the painkillers are already doing their job by the time they get really bad.

Paracetomol, most of the time I dont think mine are that bad compared to everyone elses as they go after taking them.

I hate the :witch: why do we have to endure the psychical pain of Af and also the emotional pain of knowing we don't have a bfp yet again?!

I always use a pain killer that contains codeine, as latestarted said I too have to take it before AF arrives overwise it just doesn’t seem to work as well. But its really difficult to do that since we’ve been TTC as I don’t want to take it before hand just in case I happen to be pregnant – I wish!

I've just finished second AF since having Lap and dye and this month it was partially painful - I wondering if I'm still a little tender inside from when they moved my bits about during lap and dye?

Hope you are feeling better x

Sorry your in so much pain, I hope she disappears soon

I have a prescription drug that similar to Ibuprofen, sorry can't remember the name of it. I get really bad cramps and I often take a hot water bottle to bed. My pharmacist once told me to take calcium regularly and so many days before I get my period I should double the dosage of the calcium and take ibuprofen, it did work, I was quite surprised but I hate swallowing pills so I did not stick with it, silly, I know.

I just took 800mg of Ibuprofen and a heat pad and the only thing that helped was crying myself into a minicoma.

How dramatic does that sound?
