how do you know when they're chewing??

might be a really silly question, but how do you?! katie's mouth goes round and round as if she is chewing, but i'm not sure!! she's just had her lunch and it had sweetcorn in, thought i'd mushed it up, but i had missed some and there were proper like, corn chunks (kernels?!) anyway, there was no choking or anything, so i'm assuming she chewed them up, but i dunno how you'd tell if they really are!

i want to start giving her baby pasta and stuff soon, but i dunno!!

sounds like chewing to me....Maley chews with her gums....as though she has teeth....i give her pasta but i chop them into pieces big enough to encourage chewing but small enough to not choke (in case she swallows it whole)

well she eats her toast and she has finger foods and stuff and no probs, i would have thought if she didnt chew the sweetcorn she'd have choked?? cos its prett big for a little throat lol
