How do you know when you're "ready"?

I personally think that no-one is ever truly ready, some are just more ready than others lol.

I never wanted children - I never saw myself getting married either. I'm fiercely independent and always thought I'd end up alone with a lot of cats lol. It changed literally overnight when I met my hubby - within 2 weeks of meeting and getting together coversations of WHEN we get married and WHEN we have children were coming about.....not if but when lol.

3 years later and we're married, 1 little one and anothe planned for 2012. Things do change.....and sometimes I'll look and think what the hell have I done lol.....but eventually feelings do change. You can't force it, but the true feelings will out eventually.

Just my thoughts.

I agree that 30 isn't old, it just crept up out of nowhere! It's not scary in itself, just the fact I didn't notice it coming!
