Just wondering how everyone does it really. For me I wind her every so often, but when she starts spitting out the teat I wind her again, rub her belly a little (gets really hard and full of milk, kind of cute) then try again. If she still spits it out I figure she's had enough. I also take an eruption of milk from Mt. Baby as a sign to stop for a bit, do some extra winding, and maybe try again in a minute.

Sorry hon,I've only just seen this!

I've always done the same as you, when they've turned away from the bottle, tried winded them and then offered again and if they still turn away from the bottle/spit it out I just assume they're done!

I love the picture of Lucy on your ticker, she's beautiful :) x

Molly pushes the teat out with disgust usually..

Other than that, I do exactly the same, do a bit, wind, do a bit more etc.

At that age Max used to keep his lips tight shut
We used to say "he's shut up shop"
He'd generally taken a good amount so his way of showing us he was full was to keep his lips firmly shut
Now he's older he turns his head and recently started pushing the bottle away

Evie used to do the "shutting up shop" lips too
Now she does what your LO does and either turns her head or pushes the bottle away.
We used to wind her half way thru a feed when she was smaller but then it got to the point where she wouldnt go back to the bottle after being winded so we waited till the end of a feed. She's still the same now, if she gets interrupted for wotever reason (and she gets distracted easily right now!) she'll refuse the rest of the bottle.. fussy little thing she is!
