How fast do toddlers' feet grow?

It seems like it varies from child to child but I take them to be measured but I also know myself because they start to walk funny..

If Adam's feet went through a growth spurt before you got him fitted, he might get away with those shoes for a lot longer. It's really hard to predict when they'll get another growth spurt but I was told I'd probably get 1-2 months of use out of Emma's shoes before we'd need to buy a bigger size. It'll be a month tomorrow since we bought them and they still fit amazingly so hopefully we don't have to shell out for more anytime soon. I spent more money on her shoes than I would on 5 pairs of my own shoes. :dohh:

thanks Cleck, I am really hoping he slows down for a bit now! just looked to see when it was that I bought his 12-18 month Robeez, and it was 26 August, so just 5 weeks ago; when they arrived they were massive on him, great big clown shoes, and he didn't wear them at all for the first couple of weeks, but now they fit, and they are size 3.5 to 5. that seems like a lot of growth in 5 or so weeks. I thought they'd be fitting him for ages, too...

Dec's feet take forever to grow, he went into a size 5 at about 15 months, by 24 months he was a 7 and has just gone into an 8 now at 35 months. So he has only gone up 3 shoe sizes in 1.5 years.

In June at 12 months Emma was a 2.5G. 3 months on she is STILL a 2.5G and we too cannot get walkers yet. This is despite the fact that she is above the 90th centile for length!!!!

Ruby was measured as 5F in late July and these shoes still fine 2 months later. I am hoping they will stay fine for a bit longer too! Blimmin expensive!

Take her to maddy and marks hun. They're great and they have walkers in a 2.5. I got Amelies first shoes there when she was 18months old cos her feet were too small for clarks and startrite.

This thread inspired me to get G's feet remeasured - he got his first shoes on Aug 16th - 7 weeks later he is still a tiny 2.5g!

He's in cruisers - but Clarks only do 1 style of boys cruisers that small, never mind walkers!

All different. Amber has never stopped.

Why i refuse to buy clarks shoes! I get the cheapest i can, primark, asda etc.

She got her first pair jan/feb 09 5.5F or G shes now a 9. lol

I remember being very skint when my 4 year old was little but i knew she needed new shoes so i went into a shoe shop that sells clarks/startrite etc and asked them if they could measure her for me because my mum wanted to order her some shoes online as a gift. I got her size and come home and bought a pair of £28 shoes on ebay for about £5 and due to the short length of time they are in them they were in excellent condition!

There is also a website which shows you how to measure ypu childs feet so you know what size they are. Think its startrite. £28 is a ridiculous amount of money to pay for babies shoe i think and they are just playing us tbh.

William was 3 g at the start then i think 4 now he is 5g. But every three months he has a pair of shoes, he has several at the mo as he just got measured again.

Toddlers' shoe size change every few months. When Jayden was 18 months he was in a size 6.5/7 and now he's in a size 8

from 11 months to 13 months luisa went up a size a month she is now a 5f and going up half a size a month ish x
