How have things changed-what were you doing 10 years ago???

10 years back I was 24, I was changing careers & working on my Masters degree.

10 years ago, I was 18 and a freshman in college. Just spent time hanging out with friends and was really focused on obtaining my degree.

I was 22 10 years ago, and i was a party girl!

I was heading out to many gigs, and out door hippy events and working full time as a hairdresser. Engaging in amazing psychedelic experiences, met my now DH - unfortunately we both were caught up with a very toxic group of people who became drug addicts and tried to set out to ruin my life because the 'ice queen' of the group became very jealous of us becoming a couple. I wasn't keen on getting involved in the road they were taking, either was Dh so we broke away which was hard as these people were messed up. It was a huge learning curve for us both, made us stronger as a couple and also as individuals.

We still go out and have fun at the hippy events from time to time too :) No need to stop just because we're parents. While LO is tucked away at his grandparents, we go out to play :happydance: (which is very rare..)

I was 13...I was probably climbing a tree or reading a book :haha: I was a pretty lame teenager!

10 years ago I was 14. Still at school, obsessed with football, boys (espcially one called dean) and busted/blazin squad

10 years ago i was 18 and doing a levels. I had gotten a place in university. I was very shy and stayed at home reading or studying. My dad had cheated on my mum and we were told no one was to know and i was desperate to leave home as it was horrible situation. I was working lots to save for uni as my parents couldent afford to help at all
. I much prefer my life now lol. It is 10 years january that i got together with the love of my life my dh

10 years ago I was nearly 20 and at uni doing my vet nursing degree. Can't believe I'll be 30 this year

Ten years ago I would of only been 11 so probably would of spent today at school then playing with my toys when I got home :haha:

But a few years ago, even just 2 years ago I would of been out binge drinking. Not eating anything all day to get a drunk as I possibly could. I remember one day I ate nothing all day, and shared a litre bottle of vodka and bottle of apple sourz with a friend before we even left for the night out! I was absolutely hammered, at the time I thought it was clever and fun but now I realize how dangerous it was. I can hardly remember anything from that night and it's scary to think what could of happened. Now I'm a boring so and so who'd rather have a early night and a hot bath :haha:

10 years ago I was 15! I was getting high after school and exploring my sexuality quite frequently, LOL!

10 years ago... just graduating high school. Just starting my first long-term relationship. Didn't have a clue what I was going to do with my life as my family couldn't afford to send me to college and finding a job in my home town was even difficult.

I definitely was NOT counting on ever being married, much less having a child!

OMG 10 years ago i was 17 and at college mucking bout with my good group of college friends... which unfortanetly i dont speak to anymore (out of choice lol) and talking bout guys and fashion.

Friday and Saturday nights were spent indoors playing on my laptop, watching films or curled up with a book - sometimes i was out with my best friends.

Now im married with 2 girls and spend my evenings picking up after everybody, doing tons of washings and friday and saturday nights are spent in front of the tv or soaking in the bath or curled up with a good book (some things havent changed lol)

Ten years ago I was finishing up my 3 year of college and dating my DF (well, he was my OH at the time haha). I didn't own a house and I had a crappy car. Now I'm engaged, own a house and a nice car and will be getting married in 3 months and soon after TTC! :happydance:

I'd say a lot has happen in 10 years. And my DF and I have so many memories to look back on. :cloud9:

10 years ago I was nearly 20 and at uni doing my vet nursing degree. Can't believe I'll be 30 this year

I just turned 30 in March. Its no biggie...didn't even phase me. 30 is only a number and I much prefer my life at 30 than I did my life at 20. I love money and freedom. LOL ;)

I was 16 so would of spent my Saturday's hungover after drinking a bottle of 20/20 the night before under a bridge by Asda whilst kissing random boys lol.

I was in bed by 10 last night and have been shopping today to buy a new toilet seat!

LOL Love this! And sounds ohhh too familiar!

I was excited about the new garden drip system we installed over the weekend. We were dead tired and laying in bed by 9pm. Lmao

10 years ago I would have been at school trying to be cool and fit in by being naughty lol pathetic now that I look back lol

A few years ago though I was out partying/drinking 3 times a week, lazing on the sofa with as much junk food as possible watching tv and not moving all day! God my life has changed haha for the better though :P

10 years ago i was about to get married and living in a tiny wee mountain village in Turkey. I loved living there, i just wish i'd never got married as divorce is expensive ;). I spent my days reading loads of books and teaching the schoolkids english, my evenings watching tele and avoiding the women of the village and my weekends out partying. Oh those were the days :p.

Fast forward to now and i'm a very happy mum of 2 rainbows and 1 angel, all loved up with a man i've known all my life. As my nanna used to say " Whats infront of you won't go passed you" :D

Ten years ago I was 25 and getting an after degree at university and working as a waitress (ugh!). DH (bf at the time) and I lived together in this tiny little apartment downtown overlooking the river...it was awesome! I loved being close to all the cool shops and restaurants. We live in the burbs now...great for kids but nothing cool nearby!

Definitely feel old compared to all the ladies in here who were in their teens or younger lol!

Anything you would tell your younger self? I would say "have kids a bit younger bc you're going to want more!" (But only if the kids were F and L, just born when I was younger, which I know isn't possible, but I'm dreaming here!) "And tell DH to go into marketing sooner bc he likes it WAY better than IT."

10 years ago I was a pretty shy 11 year old in my first year of high school!

10 years ago I was 17 yo and doddledoff at school after exams(gcse equivalent)were over. afternoons ere off. I did Kendo and played tcg :D.
