How long after m/c (4+5) do you get bfn?

goodluck snowball, hope it all works out for you hun x

Oh!!!!

Answer to your questions - chemical pregnancies ending in loss almost straight away (matter of days)!

Go get checked out hun x x

LOTS of luck x

I would ask your doctor to take your bloods and see if they are rising or falling.

Reason I say this is because I had an early m/c at the end of Aug with heavy bleeding, got a BFN twice by doctors in the couple of days following, so m/c was confirmed. 2-3 weeks later I was bleeding and had pregnancy symptoms, did a test and got a really strong line just like yours, so I didn't loose the pregnancy when I was sure I had.

So it's best to get it checked out. xx

I agree with the other ladies, it could be a tubal.... other possible option is it was twins and one was lost and you still have a sticky. Your line is super dark which would lead me to believe one of the two happened. Since you are bleeding and still bleeding for 6 days yet getting such a line I would get in for a scan as soon as you can and see a doctor ASAP. Lines should be fading not getting darker if it was a m/c.

So sorry you are going through this. I hope you get some def answers soon. I got a BFN the day after I started bleeding. The earlier you are in a PG I.E. before 6-7 weeks, the longer it takes for the hormone to get out of your system. I would say that you bleeding so early you should have def, gotten a BFN or at the very least a faint line. Those lines are way darker and I do not want to get your hopes up but I will be praying for good news for you.

Edit: I meant the earlier you are then it gets out faster, sorry for the confussion

I agree with all the other girls, sue. With both of my early m/c's (but a little later than yours) My tests went reapidly lighter over 3 days then down to nothing. That ic is really dark! I didnt get a dark bfp like that until I was about 6 weeks pregnant this time!

Wishing you all the luck in the world, and please please do go for that scan xxxxx:hugs:

awww sue x hope u get some answers asap, with me i had a d&c and did test and its was heartbreaking to see a :bfn: but then it must be harder to see :bfp:
like the girls said uknow get ur sel checked asap, my gosh wot if u were aving an eptopic, or uknow, wot if !!!
good luck hun x

Awww snowball I really hope tomorrow goes as well as it can but with lines as strong as that I think your still pregnant huni, maybe like the other girls have said you may have been pregnant with twins but still have one hanging on babe x

Any news from the doctors Sue hun .

I know all this bleeding seems deffinate , But i just cannot get my head at how dark that test was , Darker then the rest you took while not bleeding .

Deffinatley dont let the doctors fob you off hun , Demand scan or blood tests . Good luck sweety . xxxxx .

I've just been to the doctors and told her about it. She said that as I had issues with my tests getting slightly darker last time I m/c then that's probably the same thing happeneing again and that it's taking a few days for my body to realise that the pg has been lost :(

On a better note I spoke to her about my losses and said that emotionally I can't take it anymore and I'm getting referred to the hospital for tests on why it's happening. I should get an appointment in a couple of weeks. So fingers crossed, I may get some answers.

Im sorry snowball

I hope that they can get the answers you need.

:hugs: sorry they can't give you any more answers right now but please make sure you keep an eye on things because as other ladies have said it could indicate a twin loss or tubal. You need to make sure you are well. :hugs:

How long did it take to get BFN last time?

It took 2 weeks and 2 bleeds last time for me to get a bfn. My body is just so slow at everything :(

:hugs: first time took me a while too, one of the other girls helped me through it. This time my levels had dropped to 17 by the time I started bleeding. Its so horrible waiting, I just wish this could have a good outcome for you :hugs: please promise to take care of yourself xxxx

If it were me hun I'd still get a scan to confirm that you've mc'd and if you have that the mc has been complete. My tests got lighter the last time I mc'd by the time of my first bleed and I got a bfn a few days after my erpc.

I just can't see how they can diagnose a 'complete' miscarriage without a scan. Wishing you love & luck :hugs:

I aggree hun , I would ask for confirmation of a compleate scan .
As they cannot tell you out right that thats certain .

Iam so so so sorry thow Sue , I know this time is horrid for you . And them sending you for more investigation sounds positive . xxxx .

I would definatly get a scan. How odd of her to say it is happening again. I have never seen a test that dark after a m/c. Good luck sweety! I really hope this baby stuck and you are not having a m/c. I bled with the baby I have now. A lot... I was so scared and to my surprise all is well. As for a tubal or something else wrong that could also be the case. I am shocked you're doctor did not get bloods drawn or sent you for a scan because a possibility of a tubal which is highly dangerous. I would change doctors

:hug:Sorry hun but I think your Doc took the cop out explanation for you. For her to just say it is happening again is too easy for me. You need blood tests taken to confirm this. A scan may be good too but the blood results would be the confirmation. You would be around 6 weeks now wouldn't you so there has to be more testing they can do. I think your test is too strong 2 weeks after it happened. On your initial pic do they go up or down in order since your m/c hun?

I think you should phone the EPU and see what they think, or phone NHS direct, at least to rule out ectopic or to check your levels, keep monitoring it to see if they start to get lighter, but you should at least have your bloods tested.
Try not to worry about it though :hugs:
