LO is not well today, the first time she's ever been ill. We've had 4dirty nappies of various textures getting runnier each time. Theres been a bit of watery sick too but not much.
She seems ok at the moment just a bit more wingey and more subdude, she feels quite warm but oir thermometer is rubbish but how long should i leave it before taking her to the docs. This afternoon? tomorrow? What do docs actually do when you go woth a ill baby??

I take alfie as soon as i think hes ill or coming down with something but alfies prone to being ill :dohh: go with your gut instinct hun. My doctors really good ive taken alfie in a bunch of times and its just turned out to be teething or a common cold but they always say any worries at all and theyll be glad to help.

Thanks, i just don't want to take her unneccesarily and hang around waiting at the doctors when she could be sleeping at home and resting
I'll see how she goes this afternoon and work from there.

I don't take the children to the doctors at all for normal illnesses, getting ill is just an inevitable part of life. I would only take them if I thought something was seriously wrong.

She's not been ill before so i'm not sure whats normal illness or not
I'll see how she goes. Don't want to be the panicky mum in the doctors surgery but equally don't want to be rushing up to the hosp if we leave it and the docs is shut this evening.

You could phone NHS direct (08454647) once you've told them all lo's symptoms they will be able to give you advice on whether she needs to see a dr or not.
I took my lo this morning as she has had a cough since having the flu about a month ago was worried I was wasting his time but he was lovely.
