How long did it take you to get your BFP??

I fell pregnant the first month off the Pill - so so lucky. Was anticipating it taking a long time as my mum had fertility issues and took 2 years to conceive me and couldn't conceive another. I hope to have a few more children and it would be amazing if every one was as easy to catch.

My 1st took about 4 months. I was a bit worried (and majorly obsessed!) The month I relaxed and didn't try so hard was the month I got pregnant. And with my second, I got pregnant the second month we were trying.

Had a miscarriage in August 2008 and then we decided to leave it for a few months. Started trying again in December '08 and fell pregnant in January 2009 so I selected a month but it depends how you look at it really

I voted 6 months which is how long it took with Alfie, but Evie took over 12 months. I was worried when we were ttc Evie because it was our first and we both worried that one of us could have been infertile. I didn't worry at all with Alfie in fact I don't think I stressed about it once, I suppose you could say we were more ntnp.

We were not trying but not preventing so used no protection but took no notice at all of when we were having sex, how long my cycle was, when I was ovulating etc. It was a bit less than a year before I conceived. I am WTT and the moment and will be TTC before the end of the year so I am doing the opposite this time and carefully tracking and planning everything !

I put 1 month but Chloe was a happy accident after a mix up with the pill

I feel so so lucky to have her though. One of my best friends tried for 3 years and then had IVF to conceive her baby and I felt awful having to tell her I fell pregnant without even trying.

It is interesting to hear about everyones stories.

I was on the Pill until October 08. We started TTC in November 08 (I have PCOS). On Feb 2nd 09 I had a chemical pregnancy (early miscarriage), On 5th March 09 I got a BFP but it only showed by blood test as it was very early pregnancy.

ETA: I was visiting my Dr for clomid prescription, but she ran a blood test 1st & I was pregnant without intervention

No one was more shocked than me, well maybe DH We thought it would take ages being older.

first try we got BFP after having sex once, i miscarried at 6.5weeks Sept 08 and after waiting for my next cycle we started trying again immediatly, got my next BFP in April 09 so all in all took 9 months to get preggers with my little man xx
