Sorry I should of said how long does it take for your period to resume after you stop breastfeeding?

I got mine at 9 weeks after the birth and breastfed exclusively until 6 months and then after weaning to 8 months.

It differs a lot woman to woman. I just got my first period yesterday since having amelie and she's breastfed. Think it's returned as she's only on 3-4 feeds a day now

i stopped bf at 6 months and got my first period about 6 weeks later

I went down to only two breastfeeds a day at 9months and I think my period returned at about 11months, but I was still breastfeeding once a day right up until 13months.
