I dont chart or anything, just BD every few days, same as last time too, but my ex (Madisons dad) was a smoker, drinker, unfit etc etc. The OH is fit, healthy, non smoker etc etc, but 13 years older than the ex, so im not hopeful ill have a BFP this month, but, im thinking a lot of PMA will go far!!! xxx

weve been trying for over 8months now, with no luck were doing it stress free so no charting no temping, i just no when im due for and we try to every other night, both of us are healthy dont smoke hardly ever drink, OH did a at home male fertilty test and that came back fine, so i guess were just unlucky atm.. good luck ladies xx

I admire you for doing it stress free. I didn't want to temp originally but decided I'd better just make sure I'm ovulating, as even with positive OPK's it doesnt mean you actually release an egg. I'm only gonna do it for a few months as it's too much hassle. I seem to have ovulated fine the last 2 cycles and just waiting to on cycle 3. I just didn't want to keep trying and trying to find out that there's been a problem and get told to try something else before getting help. GL xx

Hello ladies I am going into cycle 8 at the moment. I totally understand how you all feel. Some people I work with claim to have 'accidentally' got pregnant. Felt like whacking her and I am normally such a calm person. I can't believe it's taking so long. I had a horrible bout of cystitis over my las fertile period so think I'm out again this month. Every month I feel so disappointed! Keep trying girls. I wish us all lots of luck x x

We're on month 3 of ttc but nttc!
I said to OH that I'm going to give it until June/July before I start getting worried.

It's upsetting, as I have to stop myself from thinking I am pregnant every month, as it didn't take me long to concieve before my MC before.

God i admire you too .. i tried the whole NTNP thing .. but lasted all of one month .. i wasnt going to test or chart but that only lasted two months lol.. i wanted to make sure i was ovulating.. as id been on the pill 5years .. and it seems i am now that my cycles have sorted them self out .. but now iv started testing i cant stop ..

but every month i get a BFN it seems to effect me more and more .. last month i just broke down in tears ..

but i know its not even been very long .. but its just emotionally draining ... i wish i could make the docs do tests .. they wont untill its a year ..

May get a test online .. for me and the OH .. has anyone got any experiance of these!? ...

Just got EPO and getting maca tomorrow. Going to start acupuncture on Monday. Need to cut down on alcohol, social life a bit nuts at the min ... Think the drinking is def holding us back. We have had so many parties - 30ths, engagements wedding etc over the past couple of months...

How long did it take you to conceive your other little one honey?

I'm actually trying for my fourth, lol.
#1 was 19 months and 4 IUIs
#2 1 month ntntp (woohoo)
#3 7 cycles
ttc #4 9 cycles and still going.

But, as I said before, I don't know of a single person that has repeatedly taken longer than 4 months. I have a couple of friends that were just like me. They struggled and did fertility treatments with their firsts, but then they conceived quickly for all of their subsequent pregnancies.

I'm an OB nurse, you wouldn't believe how many people 'plan' to have their babies on a certain month! And it works out for them! Kind of blows my mind a little.

We are currently nearing the end of our 11th cycle. I have been broken hearted more and more each month and this month I have taken more of a relaxed approach just for my own sanity. When I get down though, I think about someone I know how tried for years to get pregnant with no success, she went to the doctors and got told she had a frozen abdomen and endromitrisis and was extremely unlikely to have kids.
They decided to try ivf and fell pregnant on the second try. Her waters broke at 32 weeks and she had a little boy weighing just over 4lb. He was in neo-natal for a long time but now he is a happy healthy little boy. Her story gives me hope!!
(if any of you read that's life, she wrote a letter in that about her little baby boy!! )

I am 26, hubby is 25. I temped and used my CBFM, that's it. We had twice on my peak days, once in the morning and once at night.. and we caught the eggy!

starting cycle 8... it is heartbreaking, no matter how long it takes. it was dissapointing from the very first... hang in there, lovee, your baby is coming!!
