How long till af shows?

Hello ladies! I had a natural miscarriage on June 15th. This is my second loss, but with my first loss 2 years ago, I had to have a d&c. I did not receive af until 45 days later. This time I had a natural miscarriage, but was unsure if af would show up on time, like normal, or if it would be delayed. If I had not tested 2 days earlier I would have never known I was pregnant. My cycles are normally 28 days. Thanks for any advice or stories. If it should be like normal, I would start today and so far....nothing! I am just trying to prepare myself.

im sorry for your loss- for me it was 35 days (normal cycle is 25) but I had to take cytotec

Sorry for your losses. With my loss in early June, I like you wouldn't have known had I not tested before my missed period. After that one, I used an opk and ovulated right on time. I ended up pregnant again right away but unfortunately it is ending in another loss.

Thank you ladies for your replies. I am just trying to get an idea because once af doesn't show of course I become hopeful. I was supposed to start today if 28 day cycle, but no af & I jumped on a test & it was negative.

Still waiting on af.....took another test, even though I knew I shouldn't, and it was negative. I guess it is just going to take me awhile. I felt like I was having some symptoms, but apparently they are just in my head....

I had a chemical pregnancy this month and I am wondering whether or not my cycles are going to be even crazier now. I hope not because I'd really like to conceive again and I don't want it to be too much more difficult.

HEY!!!! :wave: Sorry to hear you had a chemical pregnancy. I hope your cycles are normal and don't go all crazy!

I am really ready to be on the ttc train and I felt like until I got my first period I couldn't really have a plan, but I started Friday and was actually relieved to at least know what was going on. So now I am just wondering how long cycles will be from here on out. It took 35 days to get my first af so we will see. July/August have always been good months for us so I have my fingers crossed. I am hoping af leaves soon!

So I think my DH and I are in this boat now. Got a positve frer two days ago and today nothing. I still don't have any signs of AF and am still having cramping tender/veiny breasts and even some nausea. We are ttc our first and tried 13 cycles before this and it was the first bfp I've ever gotten. We were so excited

I am so sorry to hear this! I really hope that is not the case. You got a negative on the second test you took?

Yes I took one in the afternoon two days ago and got a an obvious line using frer, next day I used an answer test and super really not there shadow line then today used frer with fmu and didn't see anything I started dark brown spotting today but it seems to have dissipated as of now. I'm still cramping and lower back pain and boobs are still veiny and slightly tender. I keep getting nauseous to but I'm thinking by tomorrow AF will be here and it'll be over. A negative test with frer pretty much says it right?

Hi ladies - I had my D&C 3.5 weeks ago and I am still waiting on my period or to ovulate. Just want SOMETHING to happen cuz I am getting impatient. ugh
I'm going for bloods today but as of last week my levels were only 25 so my dr. thinks they should be at zero now.....

I miscarried on 8/6 and just finished bleeding yesterday, actually started to bleed on 8/5. I was 12w4d but the baby had stopped developing at 9w. It's rare to lose one after seeing a strong heartbeat, but that's what happened to me, my 8th m/c. Usually, my af would appear 4 weeks or so after the bleeding stopped from the m/c, note I said from when it STOPPED. So, depending on how long I bled it was usually up to 8 weeks from the start of one of my m/c to the start of the first cycle afterwards. It can be a stressing time, that's for sure, and that too will throw your cycle off.

Hello, I had an ERPC and got my period 66 days later normally I have a 30 day cycle. Funnily enough my period came on the exact day of the month it was supposed to have come if I had not become pregnant the previous 5 cycles before. The wait was hell seriously I thought it wouldn't come back and I tried stuff to make it come on like vitamin C and papaya - I wouldn't recommend either I don't think they are what contributed. I was googling the average time it takes for your period to return and I was on the longer side like, as it seems with TTC my body doesn't respond well to pregnancy or trying to get pregnant!!!! Sorry for your loss my love x

Well, looks like AF is here today!
4.5 weeks after D&C. I'm anxious to start trying again this cycle.....
