How long until I likely won't need to pump?

Violet isn't crazy about the bottle and even when I'm working full time, she'll often not take more than 4 to 6 ounces while I'm at work. On days like that, she cluster feeds in the evening and nurses at night. When I'm not working full time, she spreads her nursing out more and will go longer at night without nursing. My husband doesn't give her as many solids when he's home with her (stay at home dad), as I do on my days off, but I've gotten him to at least give her solids once a day (for a total of twice when you include the solids I give her when I get home). It might be a good idea to start encouraging him to give her more solids, but I wouldn't expect the 4 to 6 ounces of milk to go away. If you had to guess, when would you guess that she would drop that 4 to 6 ounces from a bottle while I'm at work?

Difficult to say. My lo is 9 months today and recently stopped nursing throughout the day unless its for comfort so it could be soon.

My LO is ten months and we are just now going through her looking for food vs milk during the day. I'm glad/sad because if this. Glad because I would love not to have to pump when school starts in the fall. Glad that she's dropping the nursing sessions vs it feeling like I'm pushing for it which is what I was worried about in the fall. Sad because I miss the snuggle sessions.

She takes in a lot more milk when I'm home and nurses to sleep when I'm home for naps and always nurses to sleep at night (with a couple exceptions). But it seems that she's not very interested in milk unless she's tired. I think I need to start helping my husband do meals for her and do them for her myself when I'm home.
