How many bottles do you have

I have lots of bottles and nine size 1 teats (Avent) because teats came in with the breast pump set and new starter kit etc so I ended up with this many.

I am going to move up to size 2 teats soon, I have just four of these and am not sure how many more to buy. I'm thinking if i buy two more, then 6 in total should be enough?

How many bottles do you have/use in 24 hours?

Thanks for any replies

My LO has 5 feeds in 24 hours. We've got 8 bottles, could easily be fine on 6 but like to have a bit more breathing space on when we have to sterilise!

I was using playtex ventair bottles which we have about 8 of, and also have 2 playtex drop-ins. But have now switched to Dr browns bottles and have 5 of these. So all up we have like 15 bottles but only 5 which we use on a regular basis.

And she feeds roughly 8-10 times in a 24hr period

i have 10- in the beginning 8- enough for one day.

6 - but I half pump/half formula so usually a few of these are tied up with the breast pump or in the fridge with EBM for the day.

i have 3 gerber,2 medela,1 evenflow,1 ventair and a chicco. so 8 we use 10 bottles a day as shes ever 2 hours untill 10 pm.

We have 9 bottles. 6 9oz tommee tippee bottles, 2 5oz tommee tippee bottles (came with the steriliser) and 1 4oz avent bottle (free trial bottle). We use maybe 3-4 during the day including bedtime feed, then when he's in bed we sterilise them all again and we have 3 for through the night... sometimes 4 if he's really hungry.

We've just moved up to size 2 teats, we have 4 atm... Might buy another pack so we have 6. We only rarely use the smaller bottles now, since he's on 6oz bottles, so 6 size 2 teats would keep our bases covered I think :)

XxX

we have 9 bottles lol! but we go through about 6 in the day, i just keep rotating washes and steri's to keep on top of everything (be prepared as the scouts/brownies say LOL) - teats are expensive business though :( me and OH spent 25 quid just on new piggin' teats  the first time wasnt so bad 10 quid was boots advantage points worth, but im upgrading to size 3 soon....thats at least another 20 quid!! the sods

we have a bajilllion bottles. but Corey only likes 2 of them. He likes the really cheap ones. So we basically bought a bunch of expensive bottles for no reason. :haha:

we own loads of bottles as we didn;t know what we would need and have tried a variety of different bottles. On a daily basis however we use 2. One has the current feed in and then we sterilise the other one ready for the next feed. Never felt like we haven;t got enough

I've got 6 bottles that we use all the time.

I've got 6 4oz bottles that I no longer use because she eats more than 4oz at a time now. No clue what to do with these.

I have four of the doctor browns bottles. I am going to be buying another three pack this weekend when we go shopping. In a 24 hour period he eats about 6 times. Sometimes 5 sometimes 7, so it just depends on the day and how hungry he is and how fussy he is. When my husband gets home from work he washes any dirty bottles from the day, and then again in the morning before he leaves for work he washes any dirty bottles from the night. I am not a fan of washing bottles, I am the type who would run the dishwasher with just the bottles so I didnt have to wash them by hand. So I am happy my hubby does it. But for me 4 is just not enough, so I will definately be picking up some more.

Save them for your next baby if you plan on having another child, if not give them to a friend who might need them(minus the nipple). Or donate them to a womens shelter(again minus the nipple).

Just 6 MAM ones here, used to have 3 Breastflow ones but sold them. Didn't fully FF from day one though so by the time we did she was on 5-6 feeds a day. I tend to wash 3 or 4 at a time and always have a clean and sterilised bottle when I need it  I'll buy new ones for the next baby anyway so would rather have less and use them a lot :flower:

I have 3 large/5 small playtex drop-ins, but LO hated them. So now we have all Avent bottles. 8 9oz and 2 4oz. I make up all of his bottles for the next 24 hours, which is anywhere from 5-8, depending on if he takes a full feed or half a feed. (He's a pretty finicky baby) I would like to get another 3 pack just because I always seem to misplace one... I don't know how!

we really only use 2 5oz bottles every day, but we have other glass ones that he didn't like. We should have just stuck with the 2 Breastflow ones.

I originally had about 15 or so now I'm down to about 10  I do not know how...

When we go up to the big girl bottles I plan on hanging onto our newborn sized ones - purely because the Avent colic rings are a nightmare and I anticipate at some point they're going to end up getting lost and I can use the ones from the 4oz bottles as spares.

we own 6 bottles but could manage with less, it means only having to wash/stererlise once a day though :)
