How many children do you want?

The title says it all!!

DH and I knew we eventually wanted children but never had the how many talk. I come from a 3 kid family so i said at least 3, maybe 4.

DH comes from a 2 kid family and said 2, but I said that's not enough!

So far we've settled on 3-4, probably more leaning to 3. I guess we will see what happens once we have the first,

I grew up in a family of 2 kids so I say 3. DH grew up in a family of 3 and he says 2. So we'll start with 1 and go from there.

I'm pretty sure that my DH and I agreed on 2 when we got married but we are currently trying for #4... Not really sure when we changed our minds or even whose idea it was!!

My OH comes from an only child family, and he wants 1 or 2. I come from a big family and I want 3-4. My Mum passed away when I was 16, and I can't imagine how hard it would be to go through that without my siblings who are going through exactly the same thing. Plus the sibling bond is awesome, I feel sad for OH that he never got to experience that, so yeah definitely want at least 2, but hopefully 3-4

Probably 2, but we agreed to just focus on 1 first and make that decision later after we see how the 1st goes. Haha. I'm pretty positive we'll end up with 2 though, because I really don't want to raise an only child. But uh, yeah, would not have 3 on purpose. Two is enough for our civil servant salaries! (;

OH and I both grew up in families of 2 kids...so we both have said we want 2. But to be honest we might end up just having 1.

I'm an only child, many of my mothers family has endometriosis including me. But my husband comes for a family of five...so I want one and he wants three....I laugh cause maybe two but not three...but I'll be happy if I have one

I (33yrs.) come from a 4 kid home. Hubby (32yrs) comes from a 2 kid home. We want 2. I would like twins if possible. Been ttc for over a year. Hubby on dialysis so we may not even get the one. I pray alot about us having kids. No one really to talk to about male fertility and dialysis.
