How many Maisie/maisy's do you know - UK ladies! *update* - advice needed!

Ok so we really really do love Maisie. However, my husband has a younger sister who is 6 (same age as our eldest daughter!!) and her name is Daisy - would you still use Maisie?

Deffo. My sister Maisie was two when my youngest daughter was born, and for a while my youngest a name was Daisy (long story but we ended up changing her name around, middle name became her first name). But the point is I didn't even give it a second thought that it was rhymed with my sisters. X

My gran was a Maisie (Marion)! Don't know many kids called Maisie though!

As form Maisie and Daisy I personally wouldn't, but I have two nephews named Jai and Kye!( pronounced like the letter 'y')

I'd still use it, I don't know any Maisies and I think it's a gorgeous name

In all honesty the rhyming might put me off but only if they spent loads of time together. I had a possible name for ds1 that rhymes with his cousins name and didn't use it as they spend an awful lot of time together (my mum looks after both sets of children). However it was only a name we liked not one we'd fallen in love with
