I'm currently giving LO seven 5 ounce bottles a day, or sometimes six bottles. So he has between 30 and 35 ounces a day. But from looking online, this seems like it might be too much - well going by the link that someone posted yesterday of what it says on Babycentre. I'm not really worried about that though as LO drinks it and he doesn't spit up much so I'm pretty sure it's fine and plus I only upped him to 5 ounces when the health visitor said I should give it a try. But how much do you give your LO? My baby is quite small for his age, generally in the 9th percentile so he is almost 10 weeks and weighs about 11lbs.
The thing is, he will never turn a bottle down, or it certainly seems that way! At the moment, he sleeps through the night, from about 9pm until 6am, when he wakes for a bottle then goes back to sleep for another 2-3 hours - which is fantastic, and I certainly don't want that to change. But during the day, he wants feeding pretty much every 2.5-3 hours and I'm wondering if I was to give him six ounces instead of five, would he go longer between feeds during the day?
